John 8:44-You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
There are reports of a meeting that took place recently in Tennessee involving some two hundred pastors from mega-churches from around the country. They were briefed by two high ranking members of the Department Of Defense and received a telephone call from a member of Congress. The purpose for the meeting was simple: they needed to get their churches ready for the news that the government was getting ready to disclose to the United States.
What is this Earth shattering news?
Apparently:
“Aliens” (by which they mean extraterrestrials from other planets) exist:
Our government has recovered their wrecked spaceships and some of their bodies:
They appear to be something like reptiles;
They are the ones who made life on Earth;
God does not exist;
The Bible (here they emphasized especially the Book of Genesis) is not true:
Jesus Christ is not the Son of God;
People’s faith in the foundations of religion (especially Christianity) will be greatly shaken, so start getting your churches ready.
Several of these ministers (including the famous Pentecostal preacher, Perry Stone) have gone on the record about this meeting and what was said.
So, what shall we say about all of this?
First, rumors of disclosure have been circulating for some time. This is nothing new, although this level of publicity regarding the subject is unprecedented (to my knowledge). Indeed, while ministering in Hazard, Kentucky, I worked with several individuals who had experiences regarding these matters (perhaps I will share some of those stories in the future in a way to protect that will certainly protect their confidentiality).
Second, many respected ufologists have gone on the record over the years to state that whatever these beings are, they are not aliens from other planets, regardless of what they may claim. Instead, their goal is to undermine people’s faith in Christianity. That has indeed been the conclusion of many respected researchers through the years.
For example:
That UFOs are real is no myth. That we are searching for signs of intelligent life in the universe, sometimes even desperately, is no myth. What is a myth is the idea of human evolution extended into the myth of cosmic evolution, and by implication a plurality of inhabited worlds which provides the expectation of UFO visits and eventual contact. However improbable, this outcome is deemed possible by a large number of people, among them influential scientists and politicians who are increasingly anxious about the endangered condition of our world. Sociologist David Swift of the University of Hawaii observes that the underlying message of the UFO phenomenon is clear—that the creators of this “awesome object” (the UFO) have incredible knowledge and power. He concedes the common hope that such knowledge and power might be applied toward helping humanity solve its universal problems. “This is an alluring message, and it will become more attractive with each failure of conventional attempts to solve our complex problems. The thought of salvation from the sky is likely to grow in appeal.” 22 But the UFO phenomenon simply does not behave like extraterrestrial visitors. It actually molds itself in order to fit a given culture. Their purpose is not open contact, in the sense that we would expect friendly contact from advanced civilizations in space. Rather, their goal seems to be psychological and social manipulation. A few of the leading UFO researchers have recognized this, among them John Keel (The Eighth Tower; UFOs: Operation Trojan Horse) and Dr. Jacques Vallee (Messengers of Deception). These researchers believe that the UFO entities are deliberately programming their human observers with false information in order to hide their true nature and purpose. Dr. Vallee has addressed the UN on UFOs and was the model for “Lacombe” in Steven Spielberg’s film “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” He has spent over two decades in serious UFO research. Like veteran UFO researcher John Keel, he has put his intellectual finger on the lowest common denominator of UFO contacts—deception—and also on the most common parallel to UFO phenomena—paganism and demonology. He and other researchers have observed that overall and worldwide there are serious social, religious, and cultural implications to UFO phenomena because “belief in the reality of UFOs is spreading rapidly in all areas of society throughout the world.” 23 Vallee puts forth the idea that UFOs are purposely hoping to “change our belief systems” and that they are engaging in a “worldwide enterprise of ‘subliminal seduction.’” 24. It is little wonder (in light of these facts) that one prominent UFO “whistleblower,” a man by the name of Luis Elizondo, was told very clearly by elements of the United States government what these beings are.
The only problem: the briefing Jim wanted to share with leadership included words like archangels, angels, demons, and spiritual realm. A bridge, or two, too far for most. I urged Jim to tone down the paranormal verbiage and focus instead on the importance of this work to US national security. Our UAP investigations made us aware of a very real national security threat and that was what I felt we had to focus on if we wanted people to pay attention. “Lue, it’s the truth,” Jim said, his voice sounding increasingly frustrated. “What’s wrong with telling the truth?” He had a point. There should never be anything wrong with telling the truth. But in this case, it’s how you tell the truth that matters….Later that afternoon, I ran into Woods in a hallway between meetings. He had come to the Pentagon to receive a briefing on DIA matters not related to our efforts. Unlike my usual interactions with him, Woods didn’t smile and looked at me sternly. As he approached, he put his hands in his pockets and said something in a quiet tone that I’ll never forget. “Lue, you know we already know what these things are, right?” I wasn’t sure if Woods was asking a question or making a statement. “I’m sorry, sir,” I said. “What are you specifically referring to?” I sensed his annoyance. Deep in my mind, I secretly hoped Woods knew something I didn’t. I hoped Woods would reveal to me that these UAP we hunted were actually some sort of secret US technology, hidden deep within the black budgets of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) or the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). That would have been a welcome relief. “Have you read your Bible lately, Lue?” he asked. “Um . . . sir, I am familiar with the Bible,” I said. What a strange thing to ask, I thought. “Lue, you’re opening a can of worms playing with this stuff,” Woods said. It was clear to me he was talking about UAP. I can’t imagine the look on my face. But I’m sure Woods could tell I was perplexed. “It’s demonic,” he said to me. “There is no reason we should be looking into this. We already know what they are and where they come from. They are deceivers. Demons. Sadly, many (including Mr. Elizondo) will reject that conclusion without giving the evidence a fair hearing because they have already made up their minds about the matter.
Third, as Christians, the fact that demons are still working in the world should not surprise us. Humans have been at war with them since the fall in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:1-6). One day they will be completely defeated along with all false prophets and idols (Zechariah 13:1-2). But until then, the war continues (Ephesians 6L10-18).
Fourth, if you haven’t made your life right with God, you need to stop fooling around and start putting first things first!

Acts 22:16-And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’
Revelation 3:20-Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
Finally, no matter what deceptions that they try to sell us on, let us make up our minds to hold to the facts that have been proven undeniably true: God exists, the Bible is His Word, and Jesus Christ is His Son.
As for me, I don’t care if E.T. himself knocks at my front door for a Bible study and tells me not to trust in God, His Word, or His Son. I’ll send him packing, with this simple message:
“I’m clinging to Him.”
