By: Mark Tabata (Evangelist) Usually when people begin to attack the Bible, they claim that the Book of Genesis is mythology expressed in poetic language. They will claim that Genesis is not accurate history in any way, shape, or form. After all, if they realized that Genesis is indeed an inspired Book, that would mean... Continue Reading →
What That Tree Cost God
By: Mark Tabata (Evangelist) Quite often, people blame God for all of the suffering in the world. I remember one Bible study I had with a person who believed that God was to blame for all the horrors in the universe because He knew that Adam and Eve would choose to eat from the Tree... Carbon-14 Dating Proves The Earth Is “Young”
By: Mark Tabata (Evangelist) One of the common discussions I have with unbelievers involves the subject of the age of the universe. We are told in nearly every outlet today that the Earth and the universe are billions-millions of years old. As such, when the teaching of the Bible is examined and claims that the... Eternal Relationship
By: Mark Tabata (Evangelist) One of the great teachings of Scripture revolves around the fact that God is a Triune Being-Father, Son, and Spirit (cf. 1 John 5:7; Isaiah 48:16). Have you ever stopped and considered the implications of this? One of my favorite books is known as the Shack. Written by Paul Young, it... Continue Reading →
Dinosaur Soft Tissue…Another Proof Against Darwinism
By: Mark Tabata (Evangelist) I cannot think of anyone who is not interested in dinosaurs. Especially children! Sadly, these "terrible lizards" have often been the focal point of brainwashing of our society. You see, evolutionists maintain that dinosaurs were wiped out in a global catastrophe some 64 million years before humans showed up. Usually, public... Continue Reading →
May Women Lead Prayer In Church Assembly?
By: Mark Tabata (Evangelist) Many people in our culture are greatly troubled by the fact that God's Word shows men and women have different roles. These roles do not imply inferiority, for God's Word is clear that both males and females are created in Gods' image (Genesis 1:26-27). This truth of the Bible is reiterated... Continue Reading →
Vessels Of Wrath
By: Mark Tabata (Evangelist) In his letter to the church of Christ at Rome, the Apostle Paul addressed some in the congregation who believed that unsaved Hebrews had a special status with God, despite their disobedience to His Word. Why did they believe this? Partly because of the specific bloodline of the Hebrews. As a... Continue Reading →
Christians And Self-Defense
By: Mark Tabata (Evangelist) There are many people who believe that a Christian may not defend himself, his family, and the weak in the case of physical attack. While their beliefs are in many ways admirable, they perhaps overlook one of the most intriguing teachings of Christ found in the Gospels. Shortly before His arrest,... Continue Reading →
A Common Thread In Many U.F.O. Experiences
By: Mark Tabata (Evangelist) One of the questions that I am often asked (and that I have often wondered about myself) deals with the subject of U.F.O.'s (i.e., unidentified flying objects). It seems that many people in our world are increasingly intrigued by the subject of alien life. Is it possible that many U.F.O. experiences... Continue Reading →
“Drawn Away”
The Bible teaches us that Satan and his forces are always at work, attempting to lead people into sin and rebellion against God. This is especially made clear in James' discussion about the cycle of sin. While many people might attempt to blame their evil desires on God, James shows us the danger of this... Continue Reading →
