The Goal Of Freemasonry

The Golden Era Of The Masonic Universal Republic

It is written:

2 Corinthians 6:14-18-Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM. I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.” Therefore “COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE SEPARATE, SAYS THE LORD. DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN, AND I WILL RECEIVE YOU.”  “I WILL BE A FATHER TO YOU, AND YOU SHALL BE MY SONS AND DAUGHTERS, SAYS THE LORD ALMIGHTY.”

Members of the Masonic Lodge are commissioned to work towards a goal, which they refer to as the Golden Era of Freemasonry. One Masonic expert says of this Golden Era:

“Along with this political activity Freemasonry employed against its adversaries, whether real or supposed, a system of spying and false accusation, the exposure of which brought about the downfall of the masonic cabinet of Combes. In truth all the “anti-clerical” Masonic reforms carried out in France since 1877, such as the secularization of education, measures against private Christian schools and charitable establishments, the suppression of the religious orders and the spoliation of the Church, professedly culminate in an anti-Christian and irreligious reorganization of human society, not only in France but throughout the world. Thus French Freemasonry, AS THE STANDARD-BEARER OF ALL FREEMASONRY, pretends to inaugurate the GOLDEN ERA OF THE MASONIC UNIVERSAL REPUBLIC, comprising in Masonic brotherhood all men and all nations. “The triumph of THE GALILEAN (Jesus, M.T.),” said the president of the Grand Orient, Senator Delpech, on 20 September, 1902, “has lasted twenty centuries. BUT NOW HE DIES IN TURN. The mysterious voice, announcing (to Julian the Apostate) the death of Pan, TODAY ANNOUNCES THE DEATH OF THE IMPOSTER GOD who promised an era of justice and peace to those who believe in him. The illusion has lasted a long time. The mendacious God is NOW DISAPPEARING in his turn; he PASSES AWAY to join in the dust of ages the divinities of India, Egypt, Greece, and Rome, who saw so many creatures prostrate before their altars. Bro. Masons, we rejoice to state that we are not without our share in this overthrow of the false prophets. THE ROMISH CHURCH, FOUNDED ON THE GALILEAN MYTH, BEGAN TO DECAY RAPIDLY FROM THE VERY DAY ON WHICH THE MASONIC ASSOCIATION WAS ESTABLISHED…. The following are deemed the principal means: (1) TO DESTROY RADICALLY BY OPEN PERSECUTION OF THE CHURCH or by a hypocritical fraudulent system of separation between State and Church, ALL SOCIAL INFLUENCE OF THE CHURCH AND OF RELIGION, insidiously called “clericalism”, and, AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, TO DESTROY THE CHURCH, and all true, i.e., superhuman religion, which is more than a vague cult of fatherland and of humanity;” (Albert Mackey, Encyclopedia Of Freemasonry And It’s Kindred Sciences, 720-769 (Kindle Edition, emphasis added M.T.).

According to Mackey, the Golden Era of the Lodge refers to that time when the world is convinced that Jesus and His religion are considered a myth (ie, not true). Furthermore, the stated method of carrying out this agenda is to destroy the church’s influence in the world.

The facts, however, are that Jesus Christ IS the Son of God (cf. 2 Peter 1:16; Acts 2:22; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8), and that His church will stand forever (Daniel 2:44). The real question is: how can a professing Christian be a member of the Lodge knowing these things?

Some Masons will be told (and some will claim) that Mackey is not an authoritative source on the teachings of the Lodge. If that is your argument, consider this:

“Which authors and books do Masons themselves recommend to outsiders as authoritative? In order to answer this question, a letter was sent to each of the fifty Grand Lodges in America. We addressed this letter to the Grand Master of each Lodge and asked him to respond to the following question: “As an official Masonic leader, which books and authors do you recommend as being authoritative on the subject of Freemasonry?” Twenty-five of the Grand Lodges in the United States responded. 21 A response of fifty percent is sufficiently high to suggest that the responses of other states would not have varied significantly. In other words, we may assume that these responses are normative for U.S. Masonry as a whole. Remember, for each state, no higher jurisdictional authority than its Grand Lodge exists. Which authors were recommended by the Grand Lodges as being authoritative for Masons? 44 percent recommended Henry Wilson Coil 36 percent Joseph Fort Newton 32 PERCENT ALBERT G. MACKEY, 24 percent Carl H. Claudy 24 percent H. L. Haywood 20 percent Alphonse Cerza 20 percent Robert F. Gould 20 percent Allen E. Roberts 16 percent Albert Pike Other authors recommended included W. R. Denslow, R. V. Denslow, Charles C. Hunt, Bernard Jones, Roscoe Pound, James Anderson, Henry C. Clausen, D. Darrah, Manly Hall, W. Hutchinson, M. M. Johnson, Karl C. F. Krause, W. Preston, G. Steinmetz, J. H. Van Gorden, T. S. Webb, and Louis Williams. What individual books were recommended by the Grand Lodges as being authoritative interpreters of Freemasonry? 44 percent Coil’s Masonic Encyclopedia, by Henry Wilson Coil 36 percent The Builders, by Joseph Fort Newton 32 PERCENT MACKEY’S REVISED ENCYCLOPEDIA OF FREEMASONRY BY ALBERT G MACKEY, 24 percent Introduction to Freemasonry, by Carl H. Claudy 24 percent The Newly-Made Mason, by H. L. Haywood 20 percent A Masonic Reader’s Guide, by Alphonse Cerza 20 percent History of Freemasonry, by Robert F. Gould 20 percent The Craft and Its Symbols, by Allen E. Roberts 16 percent Morals and Dogma, by Albert Pike Notice that the Grand Lodges recognize Coil, Newton, and Mackey as the three leading Masonic authorities. 22 For example, Masonic scholar Oliver D. Street observes that all Masons “will admit that Dr. Albert G. Mackey was one of the leading scholars of the Masonic world.” 23 Albert Pike should also be listed among leading Masonic authorities. The current Sovereign Grand Commander, C. Fred Kleinknecht, relates the following about this Masonic scholar in The House of the Temple of the Supreme Council (a text extolling the headquarters of the Supreme Council, 33d Degree): “Albert Pike remains today an inspiration for Masons everywhere. His great book Morals and Dogma endures as the most complete exposition of Scottish Rite philosophy. He will always be remembered and revered as the Master Builder of the Scottish Rite” (italics added). 24 Because of the Sovereign Grand Commander’s lofty estimate, when considering the meaning of the higher degrees in the Scottish Rite, we often include what Albert Pike wrote. Masons cannot claim that Pike was only teaching his “own opinions.” (John Ankerberg & John Weldon, Te Secret Teachings Of The Masonic Lodge: A Christian Perspective, 251-290 (Kindle Edition, emphasis added M.T.); Chicago, Moody Publishers)

I pray that you see that if you are a Christian, you cannot remain in the Masonic Lodge. Can you support an institution which has as one of its stated goals the overthrow of Christ and His church, while maintaining to be a Christian?

Come out from among them, and be separate.
